The Big Horn River Adjudication’s final decree was entered Friday September 5, 2014.  Ramsey Kropf has served as the Special Master, appointed by the District Court, since 1995.  In this capacity, Special Master Kropf presided over hundreds of court proceedings as a judicial officer, and reported to the District Court judge.  Of particular note is her report regarding several hundred “Walton Right Claims” which involved hearing claims made by non-Indian owners for water rights with the same priority as the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming.
